Air Service in Iowa's Creative Corridor

Iowa's Creative Corridor has multiple domestic and international connections through direct flights available at two regional airports.  Nearly one-third of the country's population is within an hour flight of our area. 

Eastern Iowa Airport (CID)

The Eastern Iowa Airport ranks in the Top 10 of airports in the seven-state Midwestern region, based on number of passengers served, number of non-stop destinations and number daily flights.  This ranking includes airports in major metropolitan areas including Chicago, Minneapolis/St. Paul and St. Louis.

The Eastern Iowa Airport is served by Allegiant Air, American Airlines, Delta/Northwest Air Lines, Frontier Airlines, and United/Continental Airlines.  Nonstop commercial service is provided to 12 cities, including Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas/Fort Worth, Denver, Detroit, Ft. Myers/Punta Gorda, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Orlando-Sanford, Phoenix-Mesa, and St. Petersburg-Clearwater.

The Eastern Iowa Airport is also a major air cargo hub, shipping approximately 20,000 tons of cargo annually.

Quad City International Airport (MLI)

The Quad City International Airport serves travelers throughout Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois.  Air carriers include American Eagle, Delta Connection, Northwest Airlink and United Express.  Nonstop service is provided to Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Detroit, Denver, Ft. Myers/Punta Gorda, Las Vegas, Minneapolis, Orlando, Phoenix and Tampa.
